The car has a battery capacity of 350 miles at 100% capacity, you will receive it with 300+ miles available, please return the vehicle with the same unless prepaid recharging extra was added to the booking – you can add prepaid charging during the trip if you are running late!
Range/battery all depends on the driving condition, terrain, hills, external conditions, etc. I urge you to find a charger if you are nearing about ~40 miles of range remaining to avoid battery damage. The charge will be at least 80 percent full when I drop off/you pick up the car.
You will be billed after you return the car for the charging. However, this car only cost roughly $20 to fully charge at superchargers, so the cost to drive this vehicle is very low! Supercharging is super easy, use the navigation screen to find the nearest charger, and the car will direct you there. Once at a supercharger, reverse into a spot, simply plug the cable into a charge port and that’s it! The supercharger will automatically charge my card for the power you charge the battery with. Couldn’t be simpler!
Please bring the car back with at least a 50-mile charge to ensure the car’s battery doesn’t die. If the car’s batteries die because it wasn’t charged, you will be responsible for all charges pertaining to the tow.
Also, please do not leave the car parked overnight with under 50 miles of range left on the battery. This will again protect the battery, as well as ensure all functions of the car will be able to run and not drain the charge overnight. You can also charge by plugging into a regular wall outlet, or by accessing public ChargePoint chargers. Cable and adapters are included and must be returned back at the end of the rental. In case, If they are missing there will be an $800 replacement charge and it will be added to your Turo reservation.
Mileage over the included reservation limit will be charged extra based on Turo policies and at the end of your reservation, this will appear as extra mileage charges.
